Senior Electron Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Electron Developer to join a project focused on maintaining and improving an existing Electron-based desktop app — including working with some legacy code and helping plan a migration to a modern, more scalable solution.

Tech stack:

• Electron, Node.js, TypeScript

• React, Redux, Redux-Saga

• Azure, Webpack

• Security & performance optimization for Electron apps

• Packaging, signing, and distribution

What’s the role about:

• 6-month contract with a possibility to go full-time

• Fully remote, but you’ll need to be available during US (EST) business hours

• Collaborate with a small, skilled team focused on improving app stability, speed, and long-term maintainability

• Work on both existing functionality and new architecture/migration plans

What we’re looking for:

• Solid experience with Electron and desktop app development

• Strong TypeScript, React, and Node.js background

• Good understanding of app signing, builds, and deployment

• Strong communication skills — verbal English proficiency is a must

• Experience handling legacy codebases and implementing modernization strategies
