Core Backend Engineer

GTE is the world’s fastest decentralized trading venue and is looking for a Core Backend Engineer.

The team comes from the best companies and trading firms in the world, such as Palantir, Citadel, Jump, HRT, Meta, Uber, Bridgewater, Google, GSR, and more. Teams collaborate on a daily basis and are highly flexible, with engineers working on the most mission-critical problems at all times. Engineers are given complete responsibility over the services/features they own, and constant feedback should be expected.

GTE is powered by MegaETH (funded by Vitalik Buterin among others), an upcoming high-speed Ethereum L2 capable of processing over 100,000 transactions per second.

Responsibilities

• GTE's core focus is speed. You will primarily focus on optimizing the services that power fully on-chain financial primitives.
• You will be responsible for owning and rapidly shipping new features supporting our indexers, aggregators, and data availability products.

Requirements

• Deep Rust/C++ and low-latency optimizations expertise (4+ years).
• HFT or other trading infra background is nice to have.

• 150-250k USD/year gross salary + tokens (up to 750k total compensation by current valuation).
