(Senior) Consultant in ESG, Consulting

We’re currently looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our ESG & Sustainability team at KPMG in Astana/Almaty. This role is for professionals with a background in financial risk management and modeling, who are passionate about sustainability and ready to help clients navigate ESG and climate-related challenges.

In this role, you will support leading companies in assessing climate and environmental risks, quantifying financial impacts, and integrating ESG considerations into corporate risk management frameworks.

As our (Senior) Consultant , you will:

• Develop and apply quantitative methodologies to assess ESG and climate-related financial risks.
• Build and validate financial models to estimate potential losses from environmental and transition risks (e.g., DCF, VaR, P&L impact).
• Evaluate and improve clients’ risk management systems in the context of sustainability and climate resilience.
