Financial Analyst (maternity cover)

Responsibilities:

Perform period-end closing tasks and conduct the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, which include balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and analysis to support financial planning.
Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budget and forecast.
Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes and procedures.
Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Experience in FMCG is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Deep knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and experience in their application.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain quality standards.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
English proficiency: at least intermediate level
