Line Operations Coordinator/Deputy Country Manager

Container Shipping Line opens an excellent opportunity for a professional in the field of container transportation.

Objectives:

• Operational Coordination of the Turkey office and the Headquarters of the Company;
• Continuous improvement of the Line operations efficiency in Turkey;

Key Responsibilities:

• Control of the Company operations division on the territory of Turkey, including logistics, customer service, documentation and equipment-control teams;
• Day-to-day operations management within the frames of responsibility of the Turkey office with a focus on the following:

- fast handling of the Liner vessels in the ports (ensure good information and documentation support between the parties involved);

- equipment monitoring and supply (forecasting);

- customer service and documentation;

- provision of supplementary services;

• Improvement of internal processes and interaction with other departments of the Company;
• Development of the effective cooperation with partners and services’ suppliers;
• Identifying and implementing solutions aimed at improving efficiency, overall cost-saving and reduction in labour costs

• Good knowledge of the Turkish, English and Russian languages – sufficient for conducting negotiations (at least B2);
• Proven and successful work experience in container sea lines/linear agencies;
• High degree of self-organisation, attention to details;
• Strong managerial skills

Reports to: Country Manager and Operations Director of the Company Headquarters
