E-commerce Content Director

Join our growing beauty e-commerce brand as our Content Director. We need your strategic vision to captivate and connect with a global audience.

Responsibilities:

• Building and leading a new content team for the China market
• Overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the content department
• Strategic content management: Developing and executing the overall content strategy for the e-commerce storefront, aligned with key business objectives
• Ensuring uninterrupted and seamless content flow to the storefront
• Development and implementation of KPIs for team members
• Supervising the end-to-end creation and publication of product cards (text, images, video, attributes)
• Overseeing the development and updates of dedicated brand zones on the site
• Upholding high standards for all visual and textual content
• Working to reduce time-to-market for new assortment on the site
• Coordinating cross-functional efforts with the photo studio, warehouse, commercial, and marketing teams
• Managing product flow logistics to enable content creation
• Driving process efficiency through automation and tool implementation
• Managing the content production budget
• Preparing regular performance reports for senior management
• Researching market trends and best practices in e-commerce content to implement new, effective approaches

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Content Department Head / Content Director
• Proven background in e-commerce
• Experience managing large, cross-functional teams
• Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills
• Resource planning expertise and a solid understanding of e-commerce business processes
• Fluency in both English and Chinese is essential
