Construction Director

Project: 1600 MW Combined Cycle Gas-Turbine Power Plant

Contract duration: 18 months (can be extended based on business needs)

Construction Director is responsible for overall engineering, construction, installation, and commissioning of the 1600 MW CCGT Power Plant until the commercial operation date (COD).

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee EPC contractor performance to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery;
• Identify, assess, and manage construction and commissioning risks;
• Act as the main point of contact for daily coordination with all stakeholders;
• Manage technical interfaces with the National Gas Distribution Agency of Uzbekistan (UTG) and the National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan (NEGU);
• Provide regular progress reports and escalate issues to the Project CEO in accordance with agreed procedures;
• Ensure that all site activities comply with HSE policies, standards, and applicable national regulations.

Required skills and qualification:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or relevant field).​​​​​​​

- Minimum 10 years of experience in power plant construction

-CCGT project experience is preferred

- Experience in commissioning activities and plant start-up is preferred

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Good command of English; knowledge of Uzbek and/or Russian would be an advantage
