Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate local and international logistics for equipment, spare parts, consumables, and project materials.
• Arrange transport for drilling rigs, support equipment, vehicles, and general freight.
• Liaise with transport companies, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates on delivery status, delays, risks, and estimated arrival dates.
• Assist with customs clearance documentation, import/export paperwork, and regulatory requirements.
• Support procurement and operations teams with freight planning and cost estimates.
• Maintain accurate logistics records, delivery notes, invoices, transport documents, and shipment trackers.
• Coordinate site deliveries to ensure materials and equipment arrive safely and on time.
• Identify logistics risks and support solutions to avoid delays to project operations.
• Ensure all logistics activities are carried out in line with company safety, compliance, and operational standards.
• Support management with logistics reporting and planning.

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in logistics, transport coordination, supply chain, import/export, or a similar role.
• Experience in mining, drilling, construction, oil & gas, or heavy equipment logistics will be highly regarded.
• Good understanding of Kazakhstan transport routes, suppliers, and logistics processes.
• Experience working with customs brokers and import/export documentation is an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and basic reporting.
• Good written and spoken Russian is required.
• English language skills will be highly regarded.
