International Logistics Manager

An international company operating in the renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced professional for the position of International Logistics & Customs Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the import supply chain for spare parts, tools, and equipment used in wind energy projects;
• Coordinate international logistics, customs clearance, and domestic transportation;
• Prepare and review customs documentation;
• Classify goods according to HS codes and calculate applicable duties and taxes;
• Liaise with customs authorities, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies;
• Coordinate LTL and FTL shipments and optimize transportation routes and costs;
• Organize transportation of oversized equipment and spare parts within Uzbekistan;
• Monitor delivery schedules and resolve logistics issues, delays, and force majeure situations;
• Manage logistics vendors and service providers, including KPI monitoring and performance evaluation;
• Collaborate closely with procurement, warehouse, and project teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in import logistics and customs clearance;
• Hands-on experience with HS code classification;
• Experience in international freight forwarding and transportation management;
• Strong knowledge of import procedures and customs regulations in Uzbekistan;
• Experience organizing LTL and FTL transportation;
• Proficiency in handling logistics and customs documentation;
• Fluency in Russian and/or Uzbek;
• Chinese language proficiency is mandatory;
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Uzbekistan and internationally when required;
• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment;
• Strong sense of responsibility, independence, and excellent organizational skills.
