REPORTING TO: Owners Iskandar Bek Nazribekov and Rustambek Nazribekov

PLACE OF WORK: Restaurant based/Hybrid

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Group Finance Manager role is both operational and strategic. Alongside managing financial processes, it includes helping to improve financial understanding across the wider team by working closely with department heads.

The Group Finance Manager oversees the day-to-day financial running of the business and general financial performance across all entities while playing a key role while supporting leadership with planning, growth, and decision-making and in shaping the group’s growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations across all venues and entities

• Manage cash flow and forecasting

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable

• Oversee payroll accuracy and VAT submissions

• Ensure monthly management accounts are accurate and delivered on time

• Review financial performance across UK and international projects

• Support financial planning for new openings and refurbishments

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for expansion projects

• Work with leadership on longer-term financial planning

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and manage costs

Team Support and Financial Awareness

• Work closely with Heads of Department to improve understanding of budgets and reporting

• Help embed financial awareness across the business

• Support cost control initiatives

• One day per week working directly with the Director of operations, Rustambek Narzibekov

• One day per week working with a Head of Department/Operations Manager and Group Executive Chef

Internal Team Development

• Improve financial understanding across departments

• Help teams manage and take ownership of their budgets

• Support better decision-making using clear financial insight

• Increase awareness of cost control and resource planning

• Connect operational actions to financial impact

• Support smarter staffing and spending decisions

• Build confidence in reading and using performance reports

• Encourage accountability and forward planning

• Help teams understand the financial impact of projects and initiatives

• Develop more commercially aware leaders across the business

Systems and Compliance

• Improve financial reporting processes as the business grows

• Ensure compliance with HMRC, Companies House and statutory obligations

• Support improvements to financial systems and reporting tools

International Expansion

• Support financial setup for overseas projects

• Assist with multi-currency reporting

• Liaise with external advisors such as accountants, auditors and legal teams

This might be subject to periodic changes made in the light of operational requirements.

You are required to show flexibility as this is essential to the smooth running of the business, there may be periods where you are expected to take over some duties that may differ from your normal day to day duties, to ensure the smooth running of the business.
