• Lead and coordinate project implementation in close cooperation with the PMU and the Client.
• Act as the Engineer/Team Leader under FIDIC conditions of contract.
• Provide technical oversight of detailed design review, construction supervision, and contract implementation.
• Review and approve designs, drawings, technical specifications, BoQs, payment certificates, and contractors' submissions.
• Supervise construction quality, equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and final acceptance.
• Monitor compliance with technical specifications, contract requirements, and quality standards.
• Advise the Client on contract administration, variations, claims, and time extensions.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, government authorities, and the World Bank.
• Support project monitoring, reporting, implementation planning, and project completion activities.
• Organize capacity building, on-the-job training, and institutional support for the PMU and stakeholders.

•Master’s degree in civil/hydraulic engineering (or similar)
•Fluent in English
•Strong team leadership skills
•Minimum 15 years in construction supervision (water/wastewater projects)
•At least 10 years as Resident Engineer in IFI-funded projects
•Minimum 7 years in design & supervision of water supply and sanitation systems
•Experience with IFI-funded projects or at least 3 similar projects (≥ USD 50M in last 10 years)
•Experience in CIS countries (e.g., Uzbekistan) is an advantage
