Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting, monthly and year-end closing, project cost and payroll accounting via 1C system.
- Prepare, sign and submit statutory financial, tax (VAT, CIT, IIT, Social Tax) and statistical reports in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with tax authorities and communicate with government institutions, including tax bureaus, statistics bureaus and banks.
- Approve payments, monitor cash flow, reconcile bank accounts and oversee cross-border fund settlements.
- Standardize accounting vouchers, AKT acts and financial archives; establish and maintain internal financial controls.
- Lead the accounting team, coordinate external audits and support group financial reporting to the parent company.
- Deep knowledge of the Kazakhstan Tax Code and NAS.
- Strong proficiency in 1C.
- Solid experience as a Chief Accountant within Kazakhstan-based companies.
- Familiarity with local tax audits and government liaison procedures.
- Strong risk awareness, attention to detail, and a high level of responsibility.
