Infrastructure Project Manager (Cisco / Network Infrastructure)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join a U.S.-based technology company delivering large-scale network and IT infrastructure projects for enterprise and government customers.

This is a fully remote position.

This role is best suited for professionals who enjoy coordinating complex infrastructure deployments rather than managing software development projects.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Los Angeles (Pacific Time).

About the Role

This is not a Software Project Manager position.

We are looking for someone who has successfully managed complex IT infrastructure deployment projects involving multiple stakeholders, field engineers, logistics, vendors, and enterprise customers.

You will become the central coordination point for a large-scale network infrastructure modernization project, managing the entire delivery lifecycle—from planning and deployment through documentation and final customer acceptance.

- You proactively identify risks before they become project issues.

- You communicate confidently during customer calls, project meetings, and status updates in English.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day execution of complex network infrastructure projects.

- Coordinate engineers, field technicians, logistics providers, warehouse operations, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

- Maintain project schedules, deployment calendars, and resource planning.

- Track project scope, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.

- Prepare customer-facing status reports and internal project documentation.

- Manage Jira, Confluence, project dashboards, meeting notes, and action items.

- Ensure accurate project documentation and completion records.

- Identify scope changes, delays, and project risks, ensuring they are documented before work proceeds.

- Drive each deployment through planning, execution, documentation, customer acceptance, and project closeout.

Ideal Candidate

- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects.

- Experience with network infrastructure, enterprise deployments, or system integration projects.

- Strong understanding of networking technologies, including Cisco environments.

- Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and vendors.

- Strong project planning, scheduling, and risk management skills.

- Experience using Jira and Confluence.

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong customer-facing communication skills.

- English: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) minimum; Advanced (C1) preferred.

- Available to work 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Time (Los Angeles).

Nice to Have

- Experience working for a system integrator, managed services provider (MSP), or enterprise infrastructure consulting company.

- Experience with large-scale network refresh or infrastructure modernization projects.

- Familiarity with Cisco enterprise networking environments.

- Experience supporting enterprise or public-sector customers.
