Risk Management Engineer

Duties:

Facilitate risk identification workshops with project stakeholders.
Develop, maintain, and regularly update the project risk register.
Perform qualitative and quantitative risk assessments and analyses.
Evaluate the potential impact of risks on project cost, schedule, resources, quality, and safety.
Support the development of risk mitigation and contingency plans.
Monitor risk triggers and report emerging risks and opportunities.
Prepare periodic risk management reports and presentations for project management.
Coordinate with Planning, Cost Control, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and HSE teams to ensure risks are effectively managed.
Conduct risk reviews and audits to verify the effectiveness of mitigation measures.
Support scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and Monte Carlo simulations where applicable.
Ensure compliance with project and corporate risk management procedures and standards.
Promote risk awareness and best practices across the project team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in project risk management, preferably within large-scale oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, or construction projects.
Demonstrated experience in identifying, assessing, and estimating the impact of project risks.
Strong understanding of project controls, planning, scheduling, and cost management principles.
Experience in maintaining risk registers and facilitating risk workshops.
PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) – Preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) – Preferred.
Other recognized risk management certifications will be considered an advantage.
