Key Account Manager

We’re looking for a highly skilled Account Manager with deep payments and acquiring experience, especially in high-risk sectors.

• Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic merchant accounts.
• Act as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned merchants.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchant stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities for portfolio growth.
• Drive Gross Profit, processing volume and wallet share across the assigned merchant portfolio.
• Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities, including new payment methods, acquiring solutions and geographical expansion.
• Monitor merchant performance and proactively identify commercial risks and growth opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain strategic account plans for key merchants.
• Support commercial negotiations, pricing reviews and contract renewals.
• Work closely with Sales to ensure smooth merchant handovers following go-live.
• Collaborate with Routing, Risk, Finance, Technical Support, Legal and Onboarding teams to resolve merchant issues and deliver commercial initiatives.
• Monitor payment performance, routing efficiency and approval rates to maximise merchant success.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, merchant documentation and portfolio forecasts.
• Ensure all commercial commitments are communicated internally and delivered successfully.
• Act as the commercial escalation point for assigned merchants and ensure timely issue resolution.
