Marketing and International Relations Specialist

United Ventures is the largest state-backed venture capital fund in Uzbekistan, established by seven leading state-owned banks with a capital of USD 40 million. The fund invests in technology startups across various stages of growth and actively contributes to the development of the country's innovation ecosystem through venture investments, accelerator programs, mentorship, and international partnerships.

We are looking for a motivated Marketing and International Relations Specialist to strengthen United Ventures' brand, communications, public relations, and international partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging digital content, managing social media activities, building relationships with local and international partners, and identifying relevant events and collaboration opportunities to expand the fund's network and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage social media content and communication for United Ventures across relevant platforms;

• Create engaging content, including photos, videos, Reels, and other visual materials;

• Produce and edit short-form video content for social media and marketing campaigns;

• Support the development and implementation of the fund's marketing and communication strategy;

• Manage public relations activities and strengthen United Ventures' visibility within the local and international startup and venture capital ecosystem;

• Identify and build relationships with potential local and international partners;

• Research and identify relevant conferences, startup and VC events, forums, and networking opportunities;

• Establish and maintain relationships with event organizers, accelerators, venture funds, startups, media, and ecosystem organizations;

• Support the organization and promotion of United Ventures' events, including pitch days, networking events, and international activities;

• Represent United Ventures in meetings, events, and external communications when required;

• Monitor relevant industry trends and identify opportunities to increase the fund's international presence and network.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, International Relations, Business, or a related field;

• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, communications, PR, international relations, media, or a related field;

• Strong SMM and social media content management skills;

• Practical skills in mobile photography and videography (mobileography);

• Experience with video and Reels editing and short-form content creation;

• Experience in public relations, partnership development, or event management is highly preferred;

• Strong communication and networking skills with the ability to build relationships with local and international partners;

• Professional proficiency in Uzbek,English and Russian;

• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and content creation;

• Proactive, creative, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment;

• Relevant experience in the startup, venture capital, technology, or innovation ecosystem will be considered an advantage.
