Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a consulting partner to product teams through continuous requirements engineering, supporting the implementation of data analytics projects
• Design ETL architectures and execute ETL processes
• Define key performance indicators, identify the correct data sources, and connect them by retrieving data via SQL and building dynamic reports and dashboards
• Define, document, and refine web tracking concepts for product teams, in close collaboration with app developers and data analysts
• Set up new tracking concepts for apps and components
• Prepare proactive analyses to continuously identify improvement opportunities across apps, components, and online product areas
• Measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements by designing, applying, and evaluating A/B/n tests

Qualifications

Must Have

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Web/App Analyst
• Excellent SQL knowledge
• Profound experience in defining and implementing tracking concepts within hybrid app solutions, especially Google Analytics 3 (Universal Analytics) and Google Analytics 4
• Hands-on experience with ETL services and data pipelines
• Expertise in at least one standard BI reporting tool (Tableau, Looker Studio / Google Data Studio, Power BI, Qlik, SAP BusinessObjects) to visualize insights
• Proven knowledge of statistical methods and principles, including experimentation and A/B/n testing evaluation
• Master's degree in a technical, data, or mathematics-related field (e.g. statistics, physics, engineering sciences, industrial computer science, or similar) — or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

• Practical experience with Google BigQuery or similar data warehouse / data lake systems
• Experience with server-side tracking implementation
• Prior experience in e-commerce companies
