About us
Wenze Investments LLC is an American transportation and logistics company operating in the U.S. trucking industry. We are building a strong, systematic organization focused on operational excellence, reliability, technology, and the professional growth of our people.
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and ensure accurate, timely, and efficient financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the accounting team, including task delegation, work review, coaching, and performance follow-up.
- Manage daily accounting operations for U.S. trucking, including AR/AP, billing, bank and credit card reconciliations, settlements, and general ledger accuracy.
- Work with DataTruck TMS as a primary operational and accounting source.
- Monitor data accuracy and completeness and resolve discrepancies between operational and accounting records.
- Manage weekly and monthly closing processes, reconciliations, management reports, and supporting schedules.
- Work closely with Operations, Dispatch, Safety, and other departments to resolve load, driver, fuel, payment, and settlement-related issues.
- Maintain accounting procedures, internal controls, documentation standards, and audit-ready records.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, efficiency, and automation.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience, including at least 1 year in a senior, supervisory, or team-lead position.
- Strong hands-on experience with DataTruck TMS and a good understanding of U.S. trucking workflows.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, including AR/AP, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong leadership, delegation, coaching, and performance-management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Working English sufficient for communication within U.S. trucking operations and accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
- Experience with U.S. trucking accounting, including driver/carrier settlements, fuel expenses, factoring, equipment/lease costs, and load profitability.
- ACCA, CMA, or CPA certification/coursework is an advantage.
