UI/UX Design Trainee

A traineeship is more than just learning. It’s a fast track into IT for those who are ready to move beyond academic cases, work on real-world challenges, and start a career in design.

The UI/UX Design Traineeship at Andersen is an opportunity to build a strong portfolio, work on real projects under the guidance of experienced designers, and join the team upon successful completion of the program.

Applications are open in Kazakhstan: candidates from Almaty attend the program in-office, while participants from other cities across Kazakhstan can join online.

What we offer:

• 5 months: from your first day in the Lab to your first day on a commercial project.

• Full-time commitment — 5 days a week, 8 hours a day: an intensive format designed to help you reach a professional level faster.

• Career-focused training. The program is dedicated to developing the skills required for a successful start in IT. As this is an educational initiative, no scholarship is provided during the traineeship.

• Measurable results. By the end of the program, you will gain new skills, hands-on experience, and a stronger portfolio.

• A 1.5-year apprenticeship agreement. A structured learning format where you study and we invest in your professional launch.

• Employment upon successful completion of the program.

Who we are looking for:

Requirements:

• English proficiency at Intermediate+ level or higher (verbal communication).

• Completion of UI/UX Design courses.

• Confident use of Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or other design tools.

• A portfolio on Behance, Dribbble, or another platform.

• Understanding of UX processes and interface design principles.

• Understanding of responsive design.

• Willingness to learn, grow, and work with feedback.

Nice to have:

• German proficiency at Intermediate level or higher.

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.

• Experience conducting UX research.
