- Own the equities business plan, P&L, product roadmap and budget proposal. Define target clients, the initial security universe and market expansion priorities using retained assets, demand and net service economics.
- Complete partner due diligence and negotiate execution, carrying, custody, account and downstream distribution arrangements. Evaluate fully disclosed and omnibus models, customer asset rights, transfers, portability and alternative routes.
- Validate live exchange and instrument coverage separately from the right to onboard residents of each country. Lead the product work with Legal and Compliance on permissions, disclosures, investor protection, best execution and tax processes.
- Deliver the full securities lifecycle with Operations: instrument reference data, cash and FX, trade capture, settlement, dividends, corporate actions, withholding, transfers, statements and reconciliations.
- Lead API, platform and client journey delivery with Product and Engineering. Use external technology where it accelerates launch and define the securities capabilities required in B2TRADER and B2CONNECT.
- Design funded trading rules that prevent unintended leverage. Build the later business case for credit, house margin, interest, stock locate and borrow, recalls and buy-ins with Treasury and Risk before adding margin or short selling.
- Develop broker and bank distribution with B2BROKER and Sales, launch direct-client propositions in approved markets, train Sales and Support and hire specialist staff. Own partner activation, client service improvements and the economics of each expansion.
