Information Systems (IS) Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise applications, from planning and deployment to maintenance, upgrades, and retirement, ensuring alignment with business needs and IT strategy.

• Contribute directly to application development, customization, integration, and automation, including SharePoint solutions and Python development.

• Ensure the performance, availability, and reliability of business-critical applications and the timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

• Lead the Applications Management Team, assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor the quality and timeliness of delivery.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and agree on practical solutions and delivery timelines.

• Plan and coordinate cross-functional IT projects, application updates, patches, and releases while minimizing disruption to business operations.

• Coordinate external vendors and contractors, monitoring service quality and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).

• Ensure compliance with corporate IT governance, security standards, and applicable regulatory requirements; support audits and risk assessments.

• Prepare reports on application performance, incidents, usage, and compliance, and maintain technical documentation and support knowledge bases.

• Identify opportunities to improve applications, automate business processes, and enhance user experience.

• Support user onboarding and training on applications and new features.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Higher technical education in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong hands-on programming and development skills, including Python and SharePoint development or customization.

• Experience implementing, supporting, and enhancing enterprise applications.

• Experience with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle database management systems.

• Proven experience leading technical teams, including task allocation, prioritization, and performance oversight.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to handle demanding customers, manage competing expectations, and communicate technical matters clearly.

• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and working with external vendors and contractors.

• Knowledge of IT service management principles, including incident, problem, change, and release management.

• Understanding of corporate IT governance and application security requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

• Agile/Scrum, ITIL Foundation, or other relevant project management or IT service management certifications.

• ERP certifications in 1C, SAP, and/or Odoo.

• An MBA with an IT specialization.
