IFRS reporting manager

Ipoteka-bank OTP Group is looking for an experienced professional to join the IFRS Reporting Department within the Financial Reporting Directorate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS financial statements and related disclosures.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS requirements.
• Perform financial analysis of the Bank’s performance and prepare management reports.
• Support internal and external audits by providing the required information, calculations, and explanations.
• Monitor developments in IFRS and participate in the implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting data.
• Participate in the automation and improvement of financial reporting processes.
• Prepare selected notes and analyses for IFRS financial statements.
• Manage multiple reporting activities and ensure timely delivery in accordance with established reporting deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, audit, or IFRS-related functions.
• Practical experience in the preparation or review of IFRS financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and banking accounting principles.
• Experience in the banking sector is preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

IT Skills: Microsoft Excel, SQL, Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI .

Professional Qualifications: ACCA, DipIFR, CFA, CPA or an equivalent professional certification will be considered an advantage.
