We’re hiring a Staff / Advanced Staff in Risk Consulting – Internal Audit in Almaty and Astana.

Responsibilities

• Participating in risk-based internal audit and internal control projects across various business processes
• Supporting the assessment of risks, processes and internal controls
• Performing walkthroughs and testing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
• Preparing audit working papers and documenting testing results
• Identifying control gaps and supporting the development of practical recommendations
• Assisting in the preparation of audit findings, reports and client presentations
• Supporting the development and update of risk and control matrices, policies and procedures
• Participating in interviews, walkthroughs and discussions with client teams
• Conducting research and analysis to support project delivery
• Collaborating with project team members across different industries and engagements

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit, internal controls, risk management or a related area
• Understanding of key business processes such as Finance, Procurement, HR & Payroll, Sales, Treasury and others
• Basic knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment and audit methodologies
• Experience with walkthroughs, control testing and/or preparation of audit documentation is an advantage
• Familiarity with COSO frameworks and Internal Audit Standards is an advantage
• Fluent English and Russian
• University degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a related field
• CIA, ACCA or similar professional qualifications, completed or in progress, are an advantage
