STRONG Team is an international product design and engineering company working with banks, fintech companies, and technology businesses across multiple markets.

We're looking for a Senior / Lead Brand & Communication Designer to join our team working on a digital banking platform for a leading bank in Dubai.

The platform is already live and continues to grow, with new features, customer experiences, and brand communications being developed.

About the role

We're looking for a hands-on designer who can take ownership of the brand's visual direction and bring it to life across digital channels, from marketing campaigns and websites to communications inside the mobile banking app.

The brand already has an established visual identity, developed in collaboration with an external creative agency. Your role will be to evolve that identity, strengthen the brand system, and ensure it works consistently across every customer touchpoint.

You'll be the first dedicated Brand Designer within the product team, working closely with the Head of Experience, Product Design, Marketing, and external creative partners.

This is a senior individual contributor role, not a people management position. We're looking for someone who enjoys designing, not just directing the work of others.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the existing brand identity across digital and marketing channels.

• Design brand communications for websites, social media, digital campaigns, and customer-facing materials.

• Create visual assets for the live mobile banking app, including in-app banners, promotional screens, illustrations, and product communications.

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, design templates, asset libraries, and reusable visual elements.

• Translate creative concepts into polished, production-ready designs across different formats.

• Work with external creative agencies, review their output, and maintain consistency across all brand materials.

• Collaborate with Product Designers to ensure the brand is reflected consistently throughout the digital product.

• Take projects from initial concepts and design exploration through final execution.

What we're looking for

• Strong professional experience in Brand Design, Visual Design, or Communication Design, ideally at Senior or Lead level.

• A portfolio featuring real, launched projects with clear examples of your personal design contribution.

• Proven experience creating, developing, or maintaining brand identities and scalable visual systems.

• Hands-on experience designing branded content for live mobile applications, not just responsive websites or conceptual app designs.

• Excellent visual design skills, particularly in typography, layout, composition, and colour.

• Ability to independently create high-quality design work, from early concepts to final production assets.

• Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience working across multiple digital channels while maintaining a consistent brand identity.

• Fluent spoken English (C1 or equivalent), with the ability to communicate confidently and naturally, explain design decisions, and participate in discussions without significant hesitation or reliance on translation.

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of design decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, fintech, or other digital product companies.

• Experience working with both creative agencies and in-house product teams.

• Motion design skills.

• Practical experience using AI tools in the creative and design process.

Location and availability

This is a fully on-site position in Dubai. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.

We're considering candidates already based in the UAE as well as international applicants who are ready to relocate to Dubai at short notice.

Preference will be given to candidates with a short notice period who can join as soon as possible.
