Job Purpose

The Financier at Almaty campus of Coventry University Kazakhstan is responsible for ensuring the financial health, stability, and operational efficiency. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the appropriate allocation of resources, contribute to budget formulation, and safeguard assets. The Financier manages payment processing and primary documentation, while providing management with reporting and analytical materials.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and controlling cash flow
• Collecting, reviewing, and timely submitting primary accounting documentation
• Participating in budgeting, variance analysis, and budget execution control
• Reviewing, approving, and maintaining the payment request register
• Calculating costs, profitability margins, and financial efficiency of projects
• Overseeing inventory and fixed asset accounting, asset protection, and participating in inventory audits
• Conducting financial reviews of contracts and tracking compliance with financial obligations
• Preparing management reports and analytical materials for leadership
