Senior Technical Safety Process Engineer

• Perform Technical Safety engineering activities for onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, international standards, and client specifications.
• Conduct and review safety studies including FERA, QRA, EERA, Fire & Gas Mapping, HAZID, and HAZOP, and update associated drawings and layouts accordingly.
• Prepare and review Technical Safety documentation, including philosophies, specifications, equipment data sheets, hazardous area classification schedules, and safety reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews of P&IDs, 3D models, environmental studies, and engineering deliverables to identify and mitigate process safety risks.
• Perform risk assessments, safety analyses, and hydraulic calculations for firefighting water systems and other safety-related systems.
• Support EPC project execution and pre-award activities, including technical bid evaluations, contractor qualification, and technical compliance reviews.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Master's Degree preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of Technical Safety engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience in international PMC and EPC projects, including familiarity with all phases of EPC contract execution.
• Strong expertise in Technical Safety studies such as FERA, QRA, EERA, Fire & Gas Mapping, Bowtie Analysis, HFE, HAZID, and HAZOP.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Technical Safety documentation, hazardous area classification schedules, risk assessments, and related engineering deliverables.
• Proficiency in engineering software and computer-based systems, including CAD applications, database management systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluent Kazakh, English and Russian language skills are mandatory; strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities are essential.
