Strategy Manager

The Strategy Manager will support the development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the AIFC Strategy, ensuring alignment of strategic priorities, performance indicators, and development initiatives across AIFC bodies and organizations. The role requires strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills to drive effective strategic planning and performance monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development, review, and updating of the AIFC Strategy.
• Consolidate strategic initiatives, proposals, and inputs from AIFC bodies and organizations.
• Coordinate the alignment of organizational strategies, implementation plans, and KPIs with AIFC strategic priorities.
• Develop and maintain KPI frameworks, methodologies, targets, and performance tracking mechanisms.
• Coordinate the preparation and updating of the AIFC Development Plan.
• Ensure consistency between strategic objectives, implementation plans, and budget allocations.
• Collect, validate, and analyze performance data relating to strategy implementation and KPIs.
• Identify performance gaps, implementation risks, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations.
• Prepare strategic reports, executive summaries, presentations, and analytical materials for senior management and governing bodies.
• Coordinate inputs and reporting for annual and periodic strategic reviews.
• Support engagement with government bodies and key stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
• Prepare briefing materials and track implementation of agreed actions.
• Contribute to the enhancement of strategic planning, performance management, and reporting methodologies.
• Maintain accurate records of strategic documents, KPIs, reports, and supporting data.
• Perform other strategy-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Strategic Management, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, corporate performance management, economic analysis, or related fields.
• Experience in developing strategic plans, KPIs, performance monitoring frameworks, and management reporting.
• Understanding of strategic planning, strategy implementation, and corporate performance management principles.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into measurable objectives, KPIs, targets, and action plans.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent report writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English, Russian, and Kazakh sufficient for preparing strategic documents, reports, and official correspondence.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
