Manager, Accounting Advisory Services, Consulting

KPMG is seeking an experienced Manager to join our Accounting Advisory Services team in Astana. In this role, you will advise clients on complex accounting and financial reporting matters, support the implementation of IFRS standards, and help improve accounting policies, reporting processes, and financial systems. You will work closely with clients and internal teams on a variety of advisory engagements, contributing to high-quality project delivery and the development of our practice.

As part of the Accounting Advisory Services team, you will:

• Lead and manage Accounting Advisory engagements, ensuring high-quality project delivery

• Advise clients on complex accounting matters and the application of IFRS standards

• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and financial reporting methodologies

• Assist clients with the implementation of new IFRS standards and improvements to financial reporting processes

• Advise on the optimization of accounting and reporting systems, including 1C, SAP and other ERP solutions

• Communicate with clients, understand their business needs, and develop practical accounting solutions

• Contribute to business development activities, including preparing proposals and identifying new opportunities

• Represent the practice through publications, professional events and webinars

• Coach and mentor junior colleagues and support the development of the team

You're the perfect fit if you:

• Have 5+ years of audit or advisory experience in a Big4 firm

• Hold an ACCA or CPA qualification

• Have hands-on experience preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS

• Have in-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and accounting principles

• Have a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or another relevant field

• Are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing

• Have advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

• Have strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills

• Have experience with accounting and reporting systems such as 1C or SAP (a plus)

• Have in-house accounting or industry experience (a plus)

• Are willing to travel (approximately 20–30% of working time)
