Head of AC & Plumbing

Job description:

Our company is growing, and we’re looking for a Head of AC & Plumbing to lead our mechanical department and take responsibility for all air conditioning, ventilation, water supply, and drainage works across company projects, mainly premium residential villas.

What you’ll do:

- Lead and develop the team of engineers, foremen, AC technicians, and plumbers

- Prepare and approve estimates for project managers and the sales team for AC, ventilation, water supply, hot water, drainage, and mechanical design works

- Review project drawings, calculations, equipment selections, technical solutions, and specifications

- Manage works from design and coordination through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover

- Plan and allocate team resources across several projects at once

- Coordinate mechanical works with architectural, structural, electrical, and interior design teams

- Coordinate authority submissions, approvals, and inspections related to mechanical works

- Control quality, safety, and compliance with applicable UAE regulations and project requirements on all sites

- Work with procurement on equipment, materials, suppliers, subcontractors, and pricing

- Make sure timelines and budgets are met, and report regularly to management

- Review and sign off completed works, as-built drawings, testing records, and handover documents

What we’re looking for:

- 5+ years of AC and plumbing experience, including 3+ years in a leading role

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (optional)

- Strong knowledge of VRF/VRV, ducted split and chilled water systems, ventilation, water supply, hot water, and drainage systems

- Experience delivering premium residential villa projects

- Good knowledge of applicable UAE regulations, authority requirements, and approval processes

- Experience estimating and costing AC and plumbing works

- Proven experience managing teams and running several projects at once

- Practical experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting

- be able to read the drawings and use AutoCAD and Excel; Revit and BIM coordination experience is an advantage

- English is required; Russian or Ukrainian is an advantage

- UAE driving license is a plus
