Network Engineer (Data Center)

Your role at Exness

You will join our Data Center Infrastructure team in a key position. You will collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot problems, identify solutions, and make real-time assessments regarding all network infrastructure issues.

You will

• Design, implement, and operate network security solutions to improve robust and secure network infrastructure.
• Collaborate directly with the Security, Infrastructure, and Trading units to drive the development and enhancement of business solutions.
• Ensure smooth operations of production systems after the design phase is completed and the solution is deployed, providing documentation and tools for management and monitoring.
• Maintain the Exness network across multiple production and corporate environments, both in the cloud and on-premises.

What makes you a great fit

• At least 5 years of experience in network and security design and operations.
• Solid understanding of security technologies (NGFW, NAT, Threat Defence, etc.). Hands-on experience in building and operating security solutions based on Palo Alto, Cisco, and other top network security vendors.
• Hands-on experience in designing and operating L2-3 networks based on Cisco or other major network manufacturers such as Huawei, Juniper, or others.
• Solid experience in automating operational tasks using tools such as Python, Ansible, or others, and familiarity with the CI/CD approach.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, including open-source products like Grafana, Telegraf, and Prometheus.
• Knowledge in technologies such as OSI model and TCP/UDP stack, including multicast.
• In-depth understanding of switching and routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and VXLAN/BGP EVPN.
• Good grasp of Linux systems.
• At least an upper-intermediate level of English.

Nice to have:

• Industry certification from a network vendor or equivalent experience to CCIE, JNCIE, or HCIE.
• Advanced understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS).
• Experience working in banks or brokers that operate feeds with exchanges like MOEX, ICE, or others.

Your journey after applying

The starting salary mentioned is an indicative starting number and the final amount will depend on the personal tax specifics and level of seniority determined during the interview process. This is the base salary only, and the total compensation will also include the performance-based bonus and benefits/allowances.
