ROOTS is a fast-growing clean-label food retail brand, offering a unique blend of in-store, online, and shop-in-shop experiences. Launched in the UAE in 2025, we are expanding rapidly and are looking for a results-driven operational leader to scale and systematize our business across channels.

The Role

We are seeking a driven  COO / GM to lead our day-to-day operations, scale the business, and drive excellence across supply chain, retail operations, and customer experience. You will work closely with the founder and leadership team to turn strategy into execution and build the operational foundation for growth in the UAE and beyond.

• Operational Leadership: Oversee end-to-end operations including stores, supply chain, and customer service to ensure high efficiency and performance.
• Execution of Strategy: Translate strategic objectives into clear operational plans and KPIs.
• Team Building: Recruit, lead, and develop high-performing teams across store ops, logistics, and support functions.
• Supply Chain & Fulfillment: Design and manage a cost-effective, reliable supply chain for both offline and online channels.
• Process Optimization: Streamline workflows, adopt scalable tech, and drive continuous improvement.
• Financial Accountability: Manage budgets, forecasts, and operational cost control in partnership with finance.
• Compliance & Risk: Ensure full regulatory compliance and proactively manage operational risks.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with vendors, landlords, authorities, and partners.
• Customer Experience: Lead initiatives to enhance both in-store and digital customer journeys.
• Growth Enablement: Support market expansion, including new store openings and operational scaling.
