Sberindex is a team at Sber that analyzes transaction data and data from the bank's payment systems to find relevant insights about people's lives, businesses, and territories in the country. The team consists of researchers and data engineers with expertise in data sources (graduates of the Russian Economic School, the Russian Economic School/School of Advanced Studies, the Higher School of Economics, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and the Moscow State University). Therefore, we are currently looking for a middle researcher to join our research team.

Обязанности

* to prepare data (generate variables, "clean" data) * to participate in research discussions and peer review of materials *  to write clean and efficient code *  to conduct empirical research and draw conclusions based on the results obtained * to write scientific papers for Q1 journals and A\* conferences

Требования

* **C1 level of English (English-speaking team)** * Higher education in computer science, applied mathematics, and artificial intelligence at leading universities (bachelor's or master's degree) *  strong mathematical background (mathematical analysis, linear algebra, mathematical statistics, and probability theory) * understanding of the principles and algorithms of artificial intelligence * familiarity with Scikit-learn, Tensorflow/Pytorch, Matplot/Seaborn, etc. * good Python programming skills and the ability to write clean and readable code * knowledge of Git and Mapreduce
