Senior Rust Developer (DeFi Infrastructure)

We are looking for an experienced, talented Rust Software Developer who shares our passion for cutting-edge financial technology and decentralized finance.

What you are going to do

• Design, develop, test and maintain various modules of a DeFi trading infrastructure that processes terabytes of on-chain and off-chain market data and produces hundreds of thousands of trades every day.
• Implement and optimize MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) capture mechanisms.
• Work in a small team of experienced DeFi and quantitative trading engineers.
• Collaborate closely with business-related teams (Quantitative Research, DeFi Strategy, Trade Analytics, Risk Management, etc.).
• Scale the trading system by integrating various DeFi protocols (AMMs) and existing CEX-focused infrastructure.
• Have a direct impact on the growth of the company's DeFi trading capabilities.

Requirements

Core technical skills:

• Higher education in computer science, or related technical fields.
• At least 5 years of commercial programming experience with 2+ years specifically in Rust.
• Expert-level Rust knowledge including advanced features (unsafe code when necessary).
• Experience with Rust's ecosystem: Tokio, Serde, reqwest, etc.
• Detailed understanding of high performance low latency systems.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and concurrent systems in Rust.
• Proficiency with profiling tools.
• Experience with Rust testing framework.
• Excellent knowledge of classical algorithms and data structures.
• Unix / Linux proficiency.
• Git version control.

DeFi & Blockchain specific:

• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and consensus mechanisms.
• Knowledge of AMM DeFi protocols: CPMM and CLMM.
• Experience with Anchor smart contract development and auditing.
• Contributions to open-source DeFi or blockchain projects is a plus.
