Senior Voip Engineer

Ambrogio Srl – an Italian digital company with over €10 million in revenue – is seeking two senior SIP/VoIP specialists for a long-term strategic project: the integration and management of the SIPHub platform, to be used within YouNeed, our Unified Communications cloud platform.

These candidates will work closely with our IT and product teams to:

Manage, optimize, and scale the SIPHub infrastructure

Integrate SIPHub with YouNeed (REST API)

Activate WebRTC access, user provisioning, extensions, and multi-tenant management

Design and maintain HA (High Availability) and scalable architectures (bare-metal and/or cloud)

Required Skills

At least 7 years of experience in advanced VoIP environments

Excellent knowledge of OpenSIPS, FreeSWITCH, and the SIP/RTP/SDP/SRTP/NAT protocols

Real-world knowledge of SIP clustering, failover, and load balancing solutions

Debugging SIP traffic (Wireshark, sngrep, Homer, etc.)

Security: DoS protection, SIP authentication, firewalling

Development in Bash, Lua, Python, JSON-RPC management

Experience with Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Docker, or bare-metal deployment

Tools: OpenSIPS-CP, Grafana/Prometheus, log tracing

Excellent communication skills and ability to work fully remotely in agile teams
